Programs for Kinders
Our kinders are taught in a fun and welcoming environment at a ratio of one teacher for a maximum of 12 children.
As of January 2, 2025, SMCC will be offering a full-time/everyday Kinders Program for children between 44 months to six years of age. This will replace SMCC’s current program for Kinders and younger school age children, which included part-time care during school PD Days, and March, summer and Christmas breaks.
Our Kindergarten program is play-based learning which is designed to develop relationship, independence, and confidence that will ensure the children success in school. Our goal is to provide children with learning opportunities to investigate, problem solve, and collaborate as they make sense of the world around them.

Food
Children in the Kinder Program are offered a morning snack, lunch (with milk) and afternoon snack that are prepared at the centre by our certified cook. Water is also provided throughout the day.
SMCC is able to accommodate all sorts of food allergies and restrictions.
